GALT, CA (MPG) - For the second year in a row, County Line Youth Soccer will offer practice and games for special needs children. This program is supported by Cal North and US Youth Soccer.
TOPSoccer-The Outreach Program for Soccer is a community-based recreational program designed for participants of all ages with intellectual, emotional and/or physical disabilities. The program uses a volunteer buddy system and strives to provide soccer opportunities for all players in a safe, fun supportive and inclusive environment.
Registration is currently available and runs from April 1 to June 1. The season begins Sept. 6 with clinics for the first two weeks.
This will allow the athletes to get familiar with the playing environment before the Friday evening games begin.
Coach Stephanie Moe says the program needs coaches, buddies and volunteers.  “Every child should have the chance to learn to love this beautiful game,” says Moe.
Athletes can register at countylinesoccer.org.
