GALT, CA (MPG) - The Liberty Ranch boys golf team competed in the League Tournament on Monday and came out in second place.  

Six members of the 12-player team competed, with freshman Hunter Rohner taking first place overall.  Quite a feat for a freshman. 

With a team total of 481, Rohner shot a 78, Trevor Schweitz-95, Sean O’Brien-97, Kobe Aguillen-100, Jack Radford-111 and Chris Gutierrez-116.

Head Coach Mike Turpin is looking ahead.

“Hunter Rohner took first place overall and played really well,” said Turpin. “I was also really impressed with the play of Trevor Schweitz, who had a good day overall. The team did enough to secure a solid second-place finish. We have a big match coming up on Wednesday vs. Rosemont. If the boys continue to play this well, we should have a good match.” H
