ORANGEVALE, CA (MPG) - After months of anticipation, 7-Eleven has come to Orangevale! The new, 24/7 convenience store, located at 9396 Greenback Lane, opened its doors on April 28th with an official ribbon cutting ceremony by 7-Eleven corporate officials, the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce and interested community members. The festivities included a DJ, free goodies and samples of their signature Slurpees. They also presented a check for $711 to Camp ReCreation, a local non-profit in Orangevale that has been serving people with disabilities since 1983.

The owner/operator Manny Gill, and his wife Mona, thanked everyone for coming and expressed their interest in “looking forward to getting involved and being part of the great community of Orangevale”.

Before the ribbon cutting ceremony, Orangevale Honorary Mayor, Luz Johnson, welcomed Manny, Mona and their crew to Orangevale. Brad Squires, from the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce also welcomed the new business and shared what a positive impact it has already made to our community.

“Their investment into our commercial corridor was one of the catalysts helping us in securing $6M in funding for Greenback Lane streetscape improvements,” said Squires. “We’re also hopeful to expand upon what they’ve begun and to attract additional commercial investments into Orangevale. All of this leads to a more vibrant and stronger economy and community.”
