GALT, CA (MPG) - 12 teams competed at the Galt High Gym for the STUNT Section title on April 26 and 27.  While Oakridge won the Section title again, the Liberty Ranch Hawks continued to provide some good competition.

Liberty Ranch won the Sac Joaquin League title once again and Bradshaw Christian came in second.  However, Bradshaw was not able to compete at sections because many of their player also do competition cheer and were in Florida during sections. Union Mine took their spot and was ranked 11th and lost to El Capitan in the first Section round. 

So far there are no divisions in the STUNT Championships and Liberty Ranch really holds its own against these Division 1 teams. 

Out of the 12 teams, Liberty Ranch was ranked fourth and had a bye for the first round. The Hawks came out victorious against Roseville and moved on to the semifinals. 

Rocklin beat West Park by a small margin and moved onto the finals. Liberty Ranch competed against No. 1 ranked Oakridge and lost 22-4.

Oakridge then went on to beat Rocklin in the final round and moved on to the State STUNT Championships, which are held in May. Oakridge is ranked No. 2 and California High School is ranked No. 1 for the State Championship held at Clovis High School.
