GALT, CA (MPG) - Triple Crown Car Wash held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 31, with new management looking forward to becoming involved in the community.

Triple Crown is located at 604 Fairway Drive. Now under new management, it was formerly known as Big Sponge Car Wash. Triple Crown held its grand opening on June 1.

Besides express service and vacuuming, owner Ranvir Singh said Triple Crown’s “unique” service is that it towel-dries cars.

“It’s not one of those drive-thrus where you go home and you’ve got to wipe down your own car. We wipe it down for you. It might be an express, but it’s got that personalized touch,” Singh said.

Before the ribbon-cutting, Galt District Chamber of Commerce Community Relations director Kat Seabolt welcomed Triple Crown to Galt.

Galt Mayor Paul Sandhu commended Singh and his family members as “a very hard-working family,” and Sandhu emphasized the importance of small businesses for the local economy.

In an interview, Singh thanked the chamber for the warm welcome and noted he has begun planning ways to work with charitable organizations locally.

“We’re really going to be involved in the city,” Singh said.
