GALT, CA (MPG) - After 18 games, the Galt Warrior volleyball team is finally able to play on its new gym floor.  The resurfacing of the floor took longer than expected, so the sport and physical education classes have not been able to use the gym.

Volleyball relocated to the Nottoli Dome, but with the excessive heat this season, the air conditioners were not able to keep up and the volleyball fans were uncomfortable with the temperature. The Warriors then played many of their home games in the Liberty Ranch gym if it was available. 

The season ends Oct. 21 when the Warriors play Liberty Ranch at the Hawks Nest for the final game. The Warriors faced a strong league this year and were only able to beat Argonaut in league play; however, they did beat Bear Creek and Chavez in the preseason.
