GALT, CA (MPG) - It was a season to build and learn for the first-ever Galt flag football team. Of the 17 members of the team, only a couple had ever played a sport in high school.

Head coach Ryan Tassell had his challenges teaching the game and running plays.  

The team finished the season with one win and 11 losses.  

The win was against Bradshaw Christian 14-12.  The win was especially pertinent, with the Warriors having lost to Bradshaw 28-6 and 28-0 earlier.

The second touchdown scored by the Warriors was against Liberty Ranch and that was a testament to their improvement every game.

“We had our challenges this season, but I am proud of how hard the ladies worked,” said Tassell. 

“We overcame a lot of obstacles and improved with each game. I am excited for next season as we continue to build the team.”
