GALT, CA (MPG) - Cody Smith earned a D1 full-ride football scholarship to Ball State University in Indiana in the Fall of 2023. Smith was a stellar athlete at Liberty Ranch and an honor student when he was recruited.

 After redshirting his first year, he was moved from the defensive line to the offensive line this summer. By the end of this fall season, he worked his way to the starting position at right tackle.

 After graduating from high school at 245 lbs., Smith now measures in at 6 feet, 7 inches, 305 lbs. Smith was named to the dean’s list and recognized as a scholar athlete for his stellar achievements in the classroom.

 Smith is majoring in Kinesiology and getting a minor in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. He looks forward to his next three years of college football.
