GALT, CA (MPG) - Galt High School’s Bailey Cathey will be heading to North Dakota in the fall to continue her wrestling career at Minot State. Cathey is a two-time California State contender and still has her senior wrestling season to make it a third.

Cathey wrestled varsity her freshman and sophomore year at Liberty Ranch before moving over to Galt High School, where she will have competed two more varsity years.

She also won state as a child in 2016.

Cathy would like to thank her parents and coaches, especially coach Tim Cobleigh, for all of their support and guidance.

Minot State is an NCAA Division 2 university founded in 1913. It is the third largest university in North Dakota.
