GALT, CA (MPG) - Marengo Ranch Elementary School held its annual spelling bee on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The 10 participants were: Mateo Alfaro, Alfredo Carranza, Bruce Dougherty, Coral Ellison, Lorenzo Granata, Alexis Harrison, Achilles LaScola, Maddie McIntosh, Nala Ogunnaike and Nihal Shergill.
After 21 rounds, Alfredo Carranza was crowned the winner. He will advance to the next level.
