GALT, CA (MPG) - Four lady Warrior wrestlers took to the mat at the Women’s West Coast Tournament of Champions on Dec. 20 and Dec. 21, at the Placer County fairgrounds in Roseville, and all four placed. 

Freshman Savina Villa won a first-place varsity gold medal. Margareth Cacino won silver, Niko Gonzales won bronze and Jace Stanek won a fifth-place medal.

New head coach EJ Smith was impressed. “Wrestling isn’t easy,” said Smith. “It takes Discipline, Consistency, and a whole lot of heart.”
