GALT, CA (MPG) - Last Wednesday, the Liberty Ranch Hawk wrestling team held their only home match of the season. It was a dual match where both Galt and Liberty wrestled against El Dorado and Union Mine.

The crosstown rivals did not officially wrestle each other because that match is set to be hosted at Galt High School on Wednesday Jan. 29. 

While both Galt and Liberty Ranch lost both matches as a team, there were some individual wins.

“We continue to improve and gain momentum,” said coach Brian Robinson. “We don’t have enough wrestlers to fill all the weight slots this year, so those forfeits really affect the outcome of our matches. We look forward to some of our individuals winning all-league and moving on to sections as the season concludes.”
