GALT, CA (MPG) - The Galt Warrior girls’ soccer team is having a great league season with new coach Alejandro Renteria.  Their record stands at 5-0, having beat Amador, Argonaut, El Dorado, Bradshaw and Rosemont.

Last week they annihilated new league member Amador 8-0. Senior Bayley Miller contributed a “hat trick” plus one and scored four goals.

Miller has been a leader on the team for four years and she is motivated to win this year. 

“My motivation was to show that we are out here to win league and were excited to play,” said Miller. “I think all of our team chemistry is really coming together and I am really excited about how we played today.”

Shantiny Lemus scored two along with Katie Dalton who also scored two. They worked well as a team and the assists helped to rack up all those points. Brianna Romero had two assists, Lemus-2, Monica Valencia-1, Emilyann Sheldon-1 and Giovanna Melendrez-1.
