GALT, CA (MPG) - The Lady Hawk basketball team continues to assert their dominance in the league, securing their 19th consecutive victory in a hard-fought game against Amador with a final score of 46-37. This remarkable winning streak has solidified the team’s reputation as a powerhouse this season, marked by never scoring less than 40 points in any game.

While Amador's team displayed tenacity, staying close on the scoreboard throughout the game, the Lady Hawks’ relentless offensive and defensive strategies ultimately paved the way to victory. 

Leading the charge was Haley Smith, who delivered an impressive 19 points, supported by Madisyn Robbins with 12 points and Kamrynn Blevins who added another seven.

The Lady Hawks demonstrated versatility and teamwork not only in scoring but also in rebounds, which played a crucial role in maintaining their edge. Kamrynn Blevins led the effort on the boards with seven rebounds, followed by Summer McCoy and Haley Smith, each with six rebounds.

Madison Robbins added five, Cruz Gregorio four, Kendall Duryee two, and Ella Garcia with one critical rebound.

As the regular season draws to a close with their final game against Galt High on Feb. 13, the Lady Hawks are setting their sights on the upcoming playoffs. Their consistent performance has not only led the way to league victory but also set the stage for a promising postseason run.
