Local Student Wins $10,000 Taco Bell Scholarship

GALT, CA (MPG) - Jeanette Gallegos, a student at San Joaquin Delta College pursuing a nursing degree, has been awarded a $10,000 scholarship from the Taco Bell Foundation.
Gallegos, a 2024 graduate of Liberty Ranch High School, has worked at the C Street Taco Bell for the past two years. However, the scholarship is open to all eligible applicants, not just Taco Bell employees.
The award is funded through the Taco Bell Foundation’s Round Up program, which supports education and career readiness initiatives.
