In one of many regional Memorial Day observances, Troops from the Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America), above, arrive at Elk Grove Regional Park to enjoy barbecue hosted by Elk Grove American Legion Post 233. Attendees started at the Elk Grove Cemetery, 8540 Elk Grove Blvd., for a Memorial Day ceremony and walked about an hour to the park where the barbecue was held.
