GALT, CA (MPG) - Mark your calendars and bring your appetites; the annual Sacramento County Young Farmers & Ranchers Summer BBQ is back and better than ever. This year’s gathering takes place on Saturday, June 21 at Lake Have-A-Few in Galt.
Lake Have-A-Few is located at 12606 Hardesty Lane.
Starting with a social at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m., the event promises great food, good company and a whole lot of heart.
The barbecue is a fantastic chance to catch up with friends, enjoy a delicious meal and maybe take home a raffle item or two. The Sacramento County Young Farmers & Ranchers California Farm Bureau shares that the impact of this event reaches far beyond one summer evening.
Jimmy Hardesty is the main event sponsor, along with premier level sponsors Wraith, Scarlett & Randolph Insurance Services and American AgCredit. F&M Bank and the Mitchell & Wrigglesworth Family are major sponsors of the barbecue, with supporting-level sponsor from Elk Grove Milling.
Every dollar raised directly supports the next generation of agricultural leaders and strengthens the local agriculture community.
Individual tickets are available for adults at $50 and kids for $20. Every contribution helps Sacramento County Young Farmers & Ranchers keep doing the work it does in supporting agricultural education, professional development and agricultural advocacy.
