GALT, CA (MPG) - Each July, the city celebrates the contributions of park and recreation professionals and the lasting impact they have on communities across the country, including right here in Galt.

Galt’s Parks and Recreation team creates the spaces, programs and connections that make daily life richer, from exciting community events and fitness classes to peaceful green spaces and cherished family moments.

This year’s theme, “Build Together, Play Together,” marks the 40th anniversary of National Park and Recreation Month. Our dedicated Parks and Recreation team embodies this spirit every day, and we're incredibly grateful for their year-round commitment to our community.

The city invites residents to join in celebrating all month long by exploring Galt’s beautiful parks, participating in programs and events, or engaging with us on social media. And if you see a member of our Parks and Recreation team out and about, be sure to thank them; they're helping Galt build and play, every day.
