GALT, CA (MPG) - There is a lot happening at the Galt Market’s Tuesday and Wednesday Market, and the city is pleased to share the latest developments with the community.

With continued enhancements from the Market Management team, the market is introducing fresh ideas, strengthening community engagement and elevating the experience for vendors and visitors alike.

Galt Market Updates

A notable new feature is the rest area on K Row, complete with a lineup of monthly food vendors that have quickly become a favorite among customers and staff alike: One Treat at A Time, serving deep-fried Oreos and funnel cakes; House of Ice Cream, offering Dubai chocolate-covered ice cream and Sago drinks; XO Sugar Cane, providing refreshing sugar cane juice. K Row has become a welcoming spot to relax, connect and enjoy a delicious treat during a market visit.

In addition to new food options, restroom remodels are underway to improve comfort and accessibility for all guests. The East restrooms have been completed, and renovations for the North restrooms will begin soon.

With upgraded amenities, exciting food offerings and a commitment to enhancing the overall visitor experience, the Galt Market continues to move forward with positive changes that make every visit better than the last.

Artists and creatives of all ages, mark your calendars! Chalk the Walk & Roll is coming to the Galt Saturday Market on Sept. 6, and we want you to help bring Fourth Street to life with vibrant color and imagination.

 

Local artists and creatives of all ages are invited to join the Chalk the Walk & Roll event at the Saturday Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at Fourth Street Promenade.

Participants will create unique sidewalk art pieces using chalk, transforming the Fourth Street Promenade into a community art gallery for all to enjoy. Whether you’re a professional artist or simply love to doodle, this is your chance to showcase your creativity in a fun, interactive event.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Fourth Street Promenade.
