Playing under the lights at their home field for the first time this season, the young Hawks had been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of their home crowd. Weeks of preparation in the scorching heat during practice sessions paid dividends as Liberty Ranch proved they were ready for the challenge.

The temperatures that hovered around 90-100 degrees throughout the evening tested both teams’ conditioning and mental toughness, but the Hawks demonstrated superior preparation and depth as they controlled the game from start to finish.

Liberty Ranch’s offense found its rhythm early and maintained consistent pressure on the Delta Kings’ defense throughout the contest. The Hawks’ balanced attack kept Stagg off balance, while their defense rose to the occasion by limiting the visitors to just six points.

In brutal heat that had players constantly seeking relief on the sidelines, both teams battled through the adverse conditions. However, it was Liberty Ranch that showed superior conditioning and game management, pulling away for the 13-point victory.
