GALT, CA (MPG) - The Galt Police Department has teamed up with local school districts to help educate the youth and their parents in our community about the laws and safety practices surrounding e-bikes and e-scooters.

The department’s Youth Services Unit and Bike Unit are visiting schools across the city, giving presentations designed to make sure students understand how to ride safely and legally.

The focus of the Galt Police Department is to educate youth and their parents first, to ensure everyone is informed, safe and able to follow the law while enjoying these popular ways of getting around.
