GALT, CA (MPG) - The Cosumnes Fire Department reported around 5 p.m. on social media that its units were dispatched on Saturday, Sept. 13, to a grass fire near Marengo Road, adjacent to the Liberty Ranch homes development. According to the post, it was noted that the fire was quickly contained to 14 acres with no damage to any structures, and no injuries were reported.
