GALT, CA (MPG) - Just before 1 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, The Elk Grove Police Department alerted surrounding agencies about a unique high-performance truck that had just been stolen from their city.

With the help of our Flock camera network, we confirmed the stolen truck had entered Galt.

Officers located the truck in the 300 block of Pine Street and detained a male standing nearby. While detaining him, a second male exited a store and began acting suspiciously. It was determined that he had driven the first suspect to Elk Grove to steal the truck and he was also found to be intoxicated.

Both males were arrested. Elk Grove Police Department took custody for their investigation and Galt Police Department also arrested the second suspect for driving under the influence-related charges. Their identities will not be released due to the ongoing investigation.
