GALT, CA (MPG) - The Galt Warriors JV football team struggled to find its rhythm Friday night, falling to Bradshaw Christian 30-0 in a tough matchup.

Bradshaw Christian controlled the game from the opening drive, jumping out to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. The away team added two more touchdowns in the second quarter to take a commanding 23-0 lead into halftime, then tacked on another score in the third quarter to seal the victory.

The Warriors’ offense had difficulty moving the ball consistently against a stout Bradshaw Christian defense. Sophomore quarterback Reece Deleon completed one of two passes for 11 yards, but the Warriors were unable to establish a sustained ground attack.

Bradshaw Christian’s balanced offensive attack proved too much for Galt to handle. The visitors racked up 288 rushing yards on 49 carries, averaging nearly six yards per attempt.

The Warriors showed flashes of defensive intensity, with freshman Matthew Rios recording a sack, but were unable to slow down Bradshaw Christian’s ground game consistently.

Despite the setback, the young Warriors will look to regroup and learn from this experience as they continue their JV season. The team will return to action next week looking to bounce back from this tough loss.
