GALT, CA (MPG) - The Liberty Ranch High School homecoming parade is set for Friday, Oct. 3, beginning at 11:20 a.m. Floats and parade vehicles will line up at 10 a.m. in the back parking lot before starting the procession, which returns to its traditional route this year.
The parade will leave the school from the bus exit, turning left onto Marengo Road with the band leading the way. From there, it will continue onto Walnut Avenue before heading down Elk Hills Drive, passing Marengo Ranch Elementary at about 11:30 a.m.
The route then winds through Bayshore Drive, Bay Landing Drive, Bay Terrace Drive and Breakers Drive before turning onto Park Terrace Drive, where the band will rejoin the procession near McCaffrey Middle School around 11:45 a.m.
The parade will enter McCaffrey through the north fire lane gate, circle the campus and exit through the south fire lane gate. It will then return via Park Terrace Drive, Walnut Avenue and Marengo Road before heading back to Liberty Ranch High School through the first driveway.
Floats and vehicles will park in the student lot, and students will finish by checking in at the gym.
