GALT, CA (MPG) - The Liberty Ranch Hawks celebrated Senior Night with a commanding 58-0 victory over the crosstown rival Galt Warriors on Monday evening in a league conference matchup.

Before kickoff, five Liberty Ranch seniors were honored on the track in front of the home crowd. Isabela Richardson, Madisyn Robbins, Zia Ruppert, Natalie Smith and Maggie Stephens walked out with their parents, families and friends, receiving flowers from the coaching staff in recognition of their contributions to the program.

The Hawks wasted no time asserting their dominance once the game began. Liberty Ranch jumped out to a 19-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Hawks added 13 points in the second quarter to take a 32-0 advantage into halftime. The second half brought more of the same, with Liberty Ranch scoring 19 points in the third quarter and adding seven more in the fourth to complete the 58-0 shutout victory.

The win improved Liberty Ranch to a perfect 10-0 league record and clinched the conference championship. The Hawks have been dominant throughout the season, outscoring opponents by wide margins while maintaining an unblemished record.

Galt, which entered the game with a 5-5 league record and third place in the standings, was unable to maximize on any offensive momentum against the Hawks’ stifling defense, though the Warriors repeatedly got feet from the goal.

The league championship caps a memorable season for the Hawks and their five seniors. They have one more non-league game before the playoffs begin.
