GALT, CA (MPG) - The City of Galt announced on its regular newsletter Oct. 24 that the Government Finance Officers Association awarded the Certificate of Achievement for excellence in financial reporting to the City of Galt for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.

“This recognition is the highest form of achievement in governmental accounting and financial reporting; a true reflection of the city’s commitment to transparency, accountability and dedication to excellence,” the newsletter reads. “Its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management, highlighting the outstanding work of our team.”

The City of Galt congratulates the staff at the Finance Department for earning this recognition.
