GALT, CA (MPG) - As we move into the holiday season, we want to ensure that all Galt residents are aware of temporary changes to their waste collection schedule.
Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, collection services will be delayed by one day during the following weeks: the week of Dec. 25 and the week of Jan. 1, 2026.
Days outlined in red on the calendar indicate the adjusted service days. For these weeks, each regular collection day will shift forward by one day.
Example: Wednesday service will take place on Thursday for that week only.
What to Expect
Organics and trash carts will continue to be serviced every week; Recycle (R) weeks are marked in blue on the calendar; place carts out by 5 a.m. on your adjusted service day.
