GALT, CA (MPG) - Become a Volunteer Naturalist at the Cosumnes River Preserve and help connect people to one of California’s last free-flowing rivers from Feb. 28 to March 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 13501 Franklin Blvd.

Volunteer Naturalists play a vital role in education and interpretation, welcoming visitors, leading walks, supporting school programs and sharing the stories of the preserve’s wildlife, wetlands and seasonal changes.

Whether you enjoy teaching, learning or simply spending time outdoors, this role offers meaningful ways to engage with the community while deepening your own natural history knowledge. Volunteers receive training, ongoing support and the opportunity to work alongside knowledgeable staff and fellow naturalists.
