During the hourlong event, Niello, who represents District 6 (which includes the cities of Galt and Herald in Sacramento County) answered questions from chamber members on current legislation and issues being debated at the state level. Topics ranged from new laws, including the mileage tax law, to local concerns such as housing and growth in the city, giving attendees insight into how state policy intersects with community priorities.

Niello and his staff connected directly with members, offering to follow up on topics raised during the discussion and explore ways his office could assist.

Members of the Galt City Council were also present to help facilitate the discussion, including Councilmember Shawn Farmer, Mayor Bonnie Rodriguez and Vice Mayor Tim Reed.
