GALT, CA (MPG) - On March 17, just before noon, Galt Police Department officers responded to the area of 4th and C streets following a report from a caller who heard gunshots.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence indicating that a shooting had occurred; however, no victims or suspects were found at the scene.

Further investigation by Galt Police Department detectives led to a residence in Sacramento, where additional evidence and individuals believed to be connected to the incident were located. An adult male was arrested in Sacramento on an unrelated charge.

The investigation remains ongoing, and Galt police are actively investigating all leads. The department will provide additional information as it becomes available.
