Celebrate the Opening of Galt’s New Waterslide

The city is inviting residents to celebrate the grand opening of its public swimming pool and new 30-foot waterslide on Saturday, May 23 at the Gora Aquatic Center, 630 Chabolla Ave. Photo courtesy of City of Galt
GALT, CA (MPG) - Join the city as it celebrates the opening of its new 30-foot waterslide on Saturday, May 23 at the Gora Aquatic Center, 630 Chabolla Ave.
From noon to 1 p.m., there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the celebration along with light refreshments and a special giveaway for the first 25 kids in attendance. Don’t miss City Council members taking the first ride down the slide!
It should be noted that public swimming will not be available during the ribbon cutting. The grand opening for public swim for the season begins from 2 to 7 p.m.
