GALT, CA (MPG) - Liberty Ranch High School STUNT athlete Bailey Babcock will continue her athletic and academic career at Jessup University in Rocklin this fall, joining a national champion STUNT program led by Liberty Ranch alumna Alexis Welch.
Babcock, a backspot, will take the next step in her STUNT journey with one of the top programs in the country. Jessup’s success as a national champion program, combined with its location and values, made the university an ideal fit for her future.
“I chose Jessup because it was pretty close to home, and they have an amazing STUNT program,” Babcock said. “They’re national champions. It’s a Christian school, so I get to further my faith, my academics and my athletics. I’m just really excited. This is a wonderful opportunity.”
At Jessup, Babcock plans to major in child development.
Her decision reflects her passion for growth, learning and making a difference, while also allowing her to continue competing in the sport she loves.
The Liberty Ranch connection adds another special layer to Babcock’s commitment. Jessup is coached by Alexis Welch, a Liberty Ranch alumna, creating a meaningful link between Babcock’s high school program and her next chapter at the collegiate level.
As she prepares to move forward, Babcock said she is thankful for the many people who have supported her throughout her journey.
“I would like to thank my family, friends and everyone that has supported me along the way,” Babcock said. “This journey has been crazy, but we made it. I am especially grateful for the coaches I have had over the years. Most have been family, and the rest feel like family.”
Babcock’s commitment marks an exciting milestone. As she joins a national champion program, she carries the support of her family, friends, coaches and teammates, along with the determination that helped her to reach the next level.
