GALT, CA (MPG) - Liberty Ranch High School STUNT athlete Emma Webb will continue her athletic and academic career at the University of the Pacific in Stockton this fall, where she will be part of the school’s inaugural STUNT program.
Webb, a flyer for the Liberty Ranch STUNT program, has been recognized for her strength, skill and athleticism in the air. This season, one of her standout honors was earning the Best Basket Toss award, a recognition that highlights her talent, trust, timing and technique as a flyer.
Joining a brand-new collegiate program makes Webb’s next chapter especially meaningful. As a member of University of the Pacific’s inaugural STUNT team, she will have the opportunity to help build the foundation and culture of the program from the very beginning.
When asked if she was excited to be part of Pacific’s first STUNT team, Webb said, “Yes, I am.”
Webb said she chose Pacific because it felt like the right place for her both academically and athletically.
“It’s a nice school, and they offered me a good scholarship,” Webb said.
At Pacific, Webb plans to major in sports medicine, a field she was inspired to pursue in part because of one of her teachers, Ashley Wood at Liberty Ranch.
“I want to thank Ms. Ashley, our sports medicine teacher, for inspiring me,” Webb said. “And my family for being there for me through all the hard work.”
As Webb prepares to move on from Liberty Ranch and begin her college journey, she leaves behind a strong legacy as a flyer and award-winning athlete. Her opportunity to join University of the Pacific’s first STUNT program marks an exciting milestone in her athletic career and a proud moment for the Liberty Ranch STUNT community.
