ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Liberty Ranch JV Hawks left no doubt Friday night in Elk Grove, rolling over the Sheldon Huskies 34-0 on the Huskies’ home turf.
From the opening kickoff, the Hawks controlled every phase of the game, and the defense refused to give Sheldon even a sliver of daylight, keeping the home team off the scoreboard for all four quarters.
Meanwhile, the Liberty Ranch offense kept the pressure on, piling up points and never letting the Huskies find their footing. It was a complete, dominant performance from start to finish, and the JV Hawks made the trip back home with a shutout win and a statement that they intend to be a force this season.
