GALT, CA (MPG) - Calling all photographers! The City of Galt is officially launching the 2026 Greetings from Galt Community Photo Contest.

This year’s theme is “Places & Character of Galt.” 

From local landmarks and historic features to neighborhoods, streetscapes and everyday views that capture the character of our community, residents are encouraged to capture Galt from their own unique perspective.

Winning photos will be featured on printed postcards for 2027, available for distribution at City facilities, community events, outreach activities and other public functions.

Entries are open now through October 31, 2026. Grab your camera, explore Galt and capture what makes your hometown unique.
