EL DORADO, CA (MPG) - The Liberty Ranch junior varsity football team scored 48 points and limited host El Dorado to 8 on Friday night, keeping the Hawks unbeaten in Sierra Valley Conference play.

The victory moves Liberty Ranch to 5-0 in league and 7-1 overall.

The Hawks controlled the game from the start, building a comfortable lead and never letting the Cougars mount a serious threat. Liberty Ranch's defense turned in another stingy performance, holding El Dorado to a single score on the night.

Liberty Ranch returns home next, hosting Bradshaw Christian in a Sierra Valley Conference matchup on Friday, Oct. 30. The Pride enter the game coming off a 44-3 league win over Union Mine of El Dorado and carry a 5-3 record.

With a league title still within reach, the Hawks will look to protect their perfect conference mark against a Bradshaw Christian squad riding momentum from its lopsided win.
