At Country Roads Wine Cellars we believe wine should fun, welcoming, and above all – delicious. To keep things fun and exciting we source our grapes from a variety of vineyards and winegrowing regions throughout California. Quality wines begin in the vineyard so we partner with growers who are as meticulous about winegrowing as we are about winemaking. In the cellar, we take a simplistic approach. We harvest only the highest quality grapes, inoculate with carefully selected yeast and let nature take its course. Wines are aged and blended to showcase the natural expression of the grape. While we pride ourselves on producing quality wines that appeal to seasoned as well as new wine drinkers alike, we believe wine doesn’t have to be complicated. After all, it’s simply a beverage - meant to be enjoyed with a meal or a sunset, in your kitchen, or in your backyard, or on a picnic in the countryside.

We are Placerville/Gold Hill residents and source grapes from all over the region. We have a tasting room at the Old Sugar Mill that we share with Clarksburg Wine Company. We opened our tasting room in April of 2024.
