Cosumnes River Preserve Plant and Pull Volunteer Day

Join us in removing invasive plants like blackberries, mustard, and yellow star thistle. After removing invasive plants, we will then plant native species like willow and cottonwood!

Do you want to make our watershed healthier? Do you want to help make a difference in your local environment? The Watershed Stewards Program and Cosumnes River Preserve are hosting a Watershed Preserve Awareness Event.

Together, we will restore important wetland habitat. This is a great opportunity to learn more about ecology and the history of the Cosumnes River Preserve! Please bring water and wear long sleeves, pants, and close-toed shoes. Coffee and bagels will also be provided for volunteers.
