CAMERON PARK, Calif. – West Coast Dance Arts invites the community to its 6th Annual Open House on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., celebrating the start of its sixth season in Cameron Park. Founded in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, West Coast Dance Arts was created to restore the joy of dance and provide a welcoming space where children and families could reconnect through movement, creativity, and community. Today, the studio serves dancers of all ages and abilities in a supportive, family-focused environment. The studio offers classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, hip hop, and combo. Whether students are taking their first dance class or advancing their training, West Coast Dance Arts emphasizes confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance. Guests at the Open House can tour the studio, meet instructors, learn about class offerings, participate in their raffles and win great prizes. This free event is open to all interested in joining the WCDA family. West Coast Dance Arts is also home to its award-winning competition companies for dancers ages 10 and older. Team dancers perform throughout the region at community events, including the Folsom Veterans Day Parade, Placerville Christmas Parade, Kids Expo, and the El Dorado County Fair, while competing across the Sacramento and Lake Tahoe areas. This December, studio dancers will perform down Disneyland's Main Street, U.S.A., as part of Disney's Dance the Magic Holiday Parade, marking another exciting milestone for the studio.
