GALT, CA (MPG) - In the coming days, a survey will be included with residents’ utility bills to gather feedback on the city’s current regulations regarding the parking and storage of boats, RVs, trailers and unregistered or inoperable vehicles on residential properties.

Under the current code, these types of vehicles are prohibited from being parked or stored in front of residential properties.

The Galt City Council is considering potential updates to this regulation, and input from residents will help to guide future decisions. Whether you support keeping the existing rules or believe changes are needed, your voice matters.

Residents have two options to complete and submit their survey:

Surveys can be completed online by scanning the QR code that will be provided with residents’ upcoming utility bills and taking the survey electronically.

Paper surveys are also available to fill out which and will be included with the utility bill. The paper survey can be returned by mail (to be included with the utility bill payment) or by using the drop box outside city hall located at 380 Civic Drive.
